Renee Heal

Renee is an independent consultant specializing in environment and sustainability policy. A former diplomat, Renee’s career has centred on environmental diplomacy and the European Union. She has represented New Zealand internationally including as Deputy Ambassador in Madrid, Paris, and Mexico City, led strategic environment and climate initiatives, and advised on high-level policy, including at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). She currently lives in Madrid, Spain.
